Gayatri Om Ruby Sterling Silver Pendant
The sacred syllable "Om" (also "Aum") is found in the Vedic texts dating back to 1500 BC. It is considered the primary seed syllable of all mantras. Repeating a mantra helps with achieving single-focused attention and concentration, as outlined by Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras. Dharana (concentration) is one of the Eight Limbs of Yoga.
We named this piece after the Gayatri mantra.
Om bhur bhuvah svah tat savitur varenyam bhargo devasya dhimahi dhiyo yo nah prachodayat.
The eternal, earth, air, heaven
That glory, that resplendence of the sun
May we contemplate the brilliance of that light
May the sun inspire our minds.
That glory, that resplendence of the sun
May we contemplate the brilliance of that light
May the sun inspire our minds.
