Released in 1978, Cats Under the Stars never became a commercial success, yet it has grown into one of the most cherished albums among Jerry Garcia Band fans. Jerry himself reportedly considered it one of his finest studio recordings. Of course, a live version at the Warfield topped any studio recording.
