Akasha Blue Topaz and Amethyst Mandala
The root of the word Akasha (also akasa) in Sanskrit means "to be visible". It refers to space and ether. This element is the basis and essence of all things in the material world as part of the five elements: ether, earth water, fire, air. It is the first element of creation. Depending upon the tradition, Akasha can also refer to the cosmos and infinite space.
We named this mandala after Akasha because it is so dazzling it belongs in the cosmos. This Mandala pendant has four large sky blue topaz,17 Brazilian amethysts, and dark blue iolite accents. The pendant measures 1 1/2" across.
Amethyst is a favorite gem for it all its purple shades and hues. Did you know that the name amethyst comes from the Greek word for "not intoxicate"? Wearing amethyst jewelry is said to protect one from drunkenness. Maybe that's the reason we love this gem!
When you wear this pendant, not only do you feel beautiful, but it allows you to express your unique, elemental nature and style. Your preciousness deserves this elegant pendant!
