Sleepy Alligator .....
The Alligator weighs in at 16.7 grams but was carved from a piece of moldavite originally weighing over 31 grams!!.. the Lybian Desert Glass cabachon weighs 5.7 grams but was cut from a much larger piece... there is about 18 grams of 18k gold and 2 VS1 diamonds in the eyes... the whole piece is about 3" long (75mm) the gold bar above the cabachons swivels for optimum viewing from above... this piece took six months to make, and involved 6 artisans in 3 countries.... thank you so much...
